Do you have handphone and do you always sms to your friends?Well I hope you don't type all shortforms.I agree that it is bad for standard english as it will infect your english.Even I don't really use shortforms.Reasons,I hate infecting my english.What if a tourist come to Singapore and ask for directions?What are you going to say?I don't know but here are some example;'i noe lah', 'K thnx', 'C u sn' But other than this there are also others.Such as; 'LOL(lots of laugh)' and others which I couldn't recall.
Maybe you have ACCIDENTALLY made an error in your exams paper or spelling.i I gurantee(not really50-50).But it is not to sms to your friend.Just be careful it can cost you your cleverness.So see you(no shortforms he...he...).
